Songs from the soul

For me, music is prayer.

The music that flows through me is a genre of its own, a fusion of soulful folk, hip-hop, medicine, and roots. It is the poetry of my soul transformed into melody, the wisdom heard in the silent spaces of nature, and my alchemical process of turning darkenss into light.

I never grew up thinking of myself as a musician. Finding freedom in my voice has been a long journey, one that began in nature, away from audiences, expectations, and the idea of performance.

I sang because something inside me wanted to be expressed. Over time, melodies and words began to emerge, carrying experiences, questions, and transformations that I was moving through in my own life.

It was others who first encouraged me to share these songs. People heard me singing, offered to record my music, and inspired me to bring something that had been deeply personal into the world.

That transition hasn’t always been easy. There is a vulnerability in sharing songs that were born in moments of deep prayer. I continue to explore how to share my music while staying connected to the place it comes from.

I believe words carry power. What we speak and sing shapes how we experience ourselves and the world.

This is why I am drawn to songs with meaning, whether they are my own or those written by others. Songs that become mantras, reminders of what I want to cultivate, how I want to live, and what I want to bring into the world.

My music is an extension of my work with the body, voice, and human transformation. It is another way of exploring freedom, moving through fear, and reconnecting with what is alive within us.

Musically, my songs weave together folk, roots, rhythm, and soulful melodies. But more than a genre, each song carries a story. A story of something I have lived, learned, questioned, or transformed.

Over time, I hope to share more of these stories, because behind each song is much more than a melody.

And perhaps the deepest intention behind sharing my music is to encourage others to discover their own.

I believe we all carry songs within us. Sometimes what stands between us and our own expression is simply the fear of letting ourselves be heard.
