The body is always communicating.
My approach to massage begins by listening-through touch, movement, breath and the patterns held within the body.
Rather than following one particular massage technique, each session develops in response to what I feel and what you are experiencing. Sometimes the body needs deep, focused work. Sometimes it needs softness, space and stillness. Sometimes movement, breath or energetic work becomes part of the session.
I think of it less as applying a technique and more as having a conversation with the body.

These traditions form the foundation of my work, but I don’t treat them as separate services. I draw from them intuitively within each session, adapting the work to your body and what is present in the moment.
My wider understanding of the body is also informed by yoga, somatic and emotional education, movement, strength training, breath and more than twenty years of embodied practice.
your session
Every session is different. We begin with a short conversation about how you are feeling and what is happening in your body, and anything you would like support with.
From there, the session unfolds according to what we find. The work may be strong and focused or subtle and restorative — and often moves between the two.
The intention is not simply to work on the place that hurts, but to listen to the relationships within the whole body and create greater space, ease and connection.
